Allen,
> BOTTON LINE!!! Can you all say anything positive about this and not just
> "I
> would never do this" or "that would be dumb because it overlaps with your
> digital lenses."
It doesn't just overlap with the digital lenses, there is unbelievable
overlap with the MF lenses among themselves. We are guilty of pointing out
the obvious.
> I was told to come to this group by one member because you all have such a
> vast base of knowledge and experience.
Generally true.
> I was told by another member that you all would not be mean in your help
> and direction.
Also generally true.
>You've failed on both fronts! You can't even step up to the challenge of "I
>have a digital camera
> that I bought soley to handle "legacy lenses" and what would be the items
> lenses I would get to give me the best coverage from macro to infinity in
> one brand so I don't have to buy an adaptor for every lense I own?"
No, we haven't. you came for advice based on our many participants
experience, some as professionals, and some as very accomplished amateurs.
When we gave advice that didn't agree with your plan, you got a little hot
under the collar. We're not here to help you build self esteem, that's Dr.
Phil's job.
> You don't get the privledge of saying that my desire to keep the 2 bodies

> You
> need to stay within a single maker of lenses, you can't make dirogatory or

Therefore, we are only to say, "Allen, we agree with you completely,"
otherwise we're not giving posive feedback?
> If I only hear silence, or complaints, or grumbling than you all are not
> what your piers believed you to be.
That's simply crap. A large number of us seem to agree that what you are
doing isn't productive. While we all agree that it is indeed your money, the
fact that we don't agree with you doesn't make us bad guys. The fact that
there has been no rational explanation of why you need so much overlap only
feeds this.
I actually was going to stay out of this, but I guess all the other hundreds
of pointless posts about medical care and such have me a little grumpy.
Bring on the Leica posts!
