I must have been using my right eye on that last message.

I just took a stroll through the self portrait TOPE entries. Left eyes have it.

I have a hypothesis that the majority of OM users are left-eyed.
My left eye is a little better for far work, but I prefer to use my
right eye. I discovered diopters for my N*kon gear, but before I
found them for the first OM I got, I was using my left eye to focus --
something that is very unpleasant to do with a N*kon because the
winder on lever needs to be about 45 degrees open to the back of the
camera to unlock metering.
When I joined this group in the olden days I was amazed at the number
of people who railed against N*kon for it's metering lock -- because
they are left-eyed.
Batteries in a N*kon last forever though.
