We are producing lots of carbon dioxide and it may be excessive and it may be dangerous. But I dispute the fact that any one "knows" this. The current level of atmospheric carbon dioxide is hardly unprecedented in geologic time. When anyone can say with *certainty* how much carbon dioxide can be absorbed by the oceans and by the biomass that will thrive on the carbon dioxide enriched environment then I'll *start* to pay more attention. I say *start* because there's a lot more wishy-washy and precisionless "science" that needs to be waded through after that. All that said, I think it's foolish for us to consume more energy than the sun can deliver and whatever percentage of that we can reasonably capture each day. OM content: I do sometimes catch some of them photons and don't release 'em. Chuck Norcutt James N.
