Concerning the recent posts about the high cost and unavailability of the older
20 & 38 lenses/adapters, there are some other options some of you may be
interested in. Years ago, I bought a T-mount which had a plate attached to the
front with enlarger lens threads cut into the center (used it with a 50mm
enlarger lens). Don't know if it is still available commercially, but any
machinist could make one if not. For those with one of the older lenses, you
could use the same idea with the center thread cut to fit them. Also, Joe
Beljan (who is a List member) made a tapered adapter approx. 2 inches long with
a T-mount thread on the back and the 20/38 thread on the front. I have one,
but haven't tried it yet. Don't know if he has any more, but if anyone is
interested I'll ask as he lives close to me. Hope this helps someone.
