I find two slightly conflicting references in my semi-random cache of
tech messages.

In response to a query about the color castof an OP-40(PC) screen, JOhn
Hermanson replied on 2/2/2004:
"Part of the reason the screen has a tint is due to the semi-silvered mirror
which is reflecting the image. Changing the screen may have no effect.
Lumi-micron screen is a 2-13 with the tab broken off."

An exchange between C.H. and George (Classic VW) S. on 2/1/2004:

OK, C.H., from what you are saying, now I think the "Fine" in the name of the
2-series screens, "Fine Lumi-Micron" is there deliberately to differentiate
from the OM-PC's "bright" Lumi-Micron. That may indeed mean that those screens
have a finer grain. Thanks for your info.
