Different strokes. Since I individually prepare every image for a
gallery, I've already spent lots of time with them. I don't the feel the
need to spend a lot more time coding when I can have an app spin up the
gallery. If my galleries remind you of those of folks who just put up
every shot they ever take just because it's there, that's just
incompetence on my part as photographer, bu I did think about it and try.
I do do some hand coding when I put roll-overs in a gallery. I've spun
enough code over enough years that's it's seldom a thrill in itself. Got
to dive into some code I did a few years ago tomorrow, oh joy. No images
involved either. :-(

I don't much care about web designs for galleries. Fancy effects, etc.
don't change the quality and interest of the images. Sometimes it just
detracts. Seems like as soon as someone is selling their images, their
web site gets very fancy/artsy, with lots of nicely colored blank space
and fancy fonts and the images get too small to be of any interest,
either for viewing pleasure or to entice me into buying one.
It's just that yours actually makes it hard for me to comfortably view
your images. My comments are about ergonomics, not looks. I wouldn't
have said anything if I didn't, in fact, want to browse through your
images. But you don't care, and fair's fair. So you'll hear no more
from me about it.
