I found my 800/11 cat lens was very sensitve to vibration. My
impression was that some of the longer lenses such as the Zuiko 600
and Tamron 400 + 1.4x TC were often easier to keep from vibrating.
However my tripod couldn't keep the 1000/11 Zuiko stable. Both very
short and very long can be challenging. It is going to depend greatly
upon the tripod you're using.

I can't hand hold anything longer than 300 so my impressions there
won't be of any help.

There is a small 350/5.6 Tamron cat lens that is very well regarded.
There is also a 400 cat lens, which I think is a f5.6 Sigma, which
I've never seen any comments on.
