You mean, like taking pictures for fun, instead of just for competitions?
What a concept! Think it'll ever catch on? :-)

OK
Bugger all competitive sports, especially those involving balls,
internal combustion engines, firearms, projectile throwing devices
and/or professional participants. And probably some others.
Messing around in boats in non-competitive ways is fun.
Mess around outdoors for fun! Take photographs! Mess around with your
kids and grandkids in ways that don't create winners and losers. Help
them grow up whole. Maybe they will grow up not wanting to kill other
people, in person or by proxy. Maybe they won't even hate people
different than themselves.
When nobody loses, everybody wins.
End wildly unpopular rant. Competitive sports, feh!
