Hi Everyone,
In reply to Chris's post below, I too saw the very cheap 4GB card from 7
day shop, and was tempted. If it was a SanDisk I would have jumped on
it. Chris - let me know how it performs !
On a related note, I don't believe the current low prices will last.
Reason being that I have it on good authority that one of the biggest
(if not the biggest) single manufacturer of the Flash Memory chips that
go in these devices (CF cards, USB sticks, etc.) is pulling out of the
market completely in the near future. Seems they can't make a profit at
it and be competitive at the moment.
Of course, I could be wrong. Thought I'd share that little nugget of
info here though, as if true it could affect most of us.
Regards,
Jon

Well, although the snow in England, well this part anyway, has come
and gone, I shall be in Sweden in March. Then I'll find out whether
I can dress warmly. I have just bought myself some SealSkinz gloves
to use with an E-1, and a 3rd battery so as to obviate the need for a
charger. In addition I have ordered a 4Gb card from 7dayshop. Next
stop the camera adaptor for my iPod ...
I hope to be able to rival your excellent snow photos, Joel :-)
Oh, and thanks for the note about macro(ish) with the 50-200.
