I've got different Quantum batteries (PB1 & PB2) than you. Short
answer, I wouldn't be too worried yet.
Generally the Quantum batteries will charge up overnight even when
I've run them down quite low. All of mine were bought used. I have one
or maybe two that at first wouldn't take a charge. After several
different day long attempts at least one of them came back to life. I
haven't noticed any problem with it since then.
The lead batteries seem to be very long-lived. The smaller
NiCd/NiMH(?) versions I have aren't nearly so resilient and they are
more expensive to have repaired.
Quantum makes both a fast charger and a slow trickle charger for my
batteries. The slow trickle charger seems to work better. I've left
it running for days at a time, when trying to bring a dead battery
back to life,.
My experience has been that the trickle charger will fully charge any
battery in about 12 hours unless the battery has problems. Your
charger may be used with a greater variety of battery capacities, but
I would be surprised if you aren't fully charged up in less than 24
hours. Next time will probably be quicker.
Good luck,
-jeff
