And at the other end of the spectrum, while in London last week I called
into Jessops main branch to ask about pricing on their CF cards. A 2GB
SanDisk Ultra II was over GBP80. I thought I had misheard, GBP18 would have
been a good price. Alas, 'twas not to be. I bought Lexar Pro 2GB (133x)
from www.dabs.com for less than GBP50.
Jessops hope to get a ludicrous GBP149.99 for their own-brand 4GB CF.
Another reason not to patronise the biggest UK photo retail chain.
