The A1 is still working fine. No problems with the CCD yet. But at
this point it's only being used a couple of times/month and then fairly
lightly. I think I took maybe 50 frames/month for the past several
months. It's the camera that comes out whenever there's a need for a
quick macro shot, often hand held or any kind of P&S function. It's
also pretty easy to carry since I have a fanny pack that's just large
enough to hold it along with a spare battery and card. When using it at
events I used to keep the dual battery/vertical grip on it but now I
leave it off as unnecessary for light use.
