I use a Zuiko 18/3.5 on my SLR/c and get fantastic results:

This is old news to 1Ds (II) fanatic pixel peepers. The tests that
established the superiority of the Zeiss Distagon really seem to show,
to my eye how close the Zuiko 21s are to the Zeiss. they were really
down to picking tiny, tiny nits at huge effective display sizes to come
up with a winner.
When you get to 18 mm, the Zuiko is the winner:
"Bottom line: the Zeiss 18mm is better than the Olympus centre frame,
but the Olympus 18mm has very even performance across the frame. And
both convincingly outclass the Canon 16-35mm. It is worth noting that
six separate 16-35mm L lenses were sifted through and found wanting
before this prime specimen was found. So if you're thinking: 'bad
sample', the truth is that this one is probably about as good as it
gets." <http://www.16-9.net/lens_tests/18mm_testb.html>

I sold mine too -- but only one of them. ;-) Still have the 18/3.5 too.
But I have yet to use either on the 5D. I do try, but I'm still not much
of a wide angle shooter. But I keep up hope by having the right lenses. :-)
The OM system is indeed a mighty fine one, overall, and some of the
pieces still stand out.
