Not necessary. There are many places here in the states (at least here
on LI), with signs all over selling eyeglasses for $29 minimum. Get all
the options, coatings, astigmatism, etc. corrections, flex frames, and
you're up to $50-$80. They last me years. No, they're not trendy
overadvertised brands, and no they don't "look" cheap in the slightest..
It seems to more depend on how fast you drive past those places while
the smirky mantra "you get what you pay for" is droned & actually
fervently believed. Simply an untrue myth.
