I also miss the more audible clunk-click of the mirror-shutter on film SLRs-
the OM40 has I think the best camera sounds ever - you KNOW when you've
taken a shot with an OM40. Even better with a Power Winder II attached of
course. The OM2 is ok but the mirror is a tad too much damped for my own
liking - but of course useful in places where you have to be quiet. The A1
is nice too - I'm fortunate to have one without the infamous Canon
cough/squeal :)
