Hi,
Sadly I didn't get the carbon manfrotto tripod I had hoped for but I did
get which more than made up for it a lovely handmade wooden briefcase
(from the local handicapped market) with a nice leather trim inside. The
problem is my laptop is too small and would bounce around inside it. I
have a neoprene cover for the laptop but would like to fix it a little
better. I have come up with two ideas so far, one is to use polystyrene
or the precut foam you find in camera cases and cut out a cosy place for
the laptop to sit in. The other option is to glue some Velcro strips to
the leather inside the case and then sew the other sticky side of the
strips to the neoprene cover, but this is then a permanent fixture,
although I guess I will always be carrying a laptop in it and could
always Velcro any new neoprene cases.
As this problem is similar to carrying camera equipment I thought I
would try here for further suggestions. Oh and where do you buy that
semi cut foam you find in aluminium and pele cases.
Thanks Ian
