I was going to mention power/batteries - but that's probably the one part of
a camera that a user could modify if the need arose Right now, there are
numerous sites that will show uou how to make a 'AA' battery power pack for
old OM's (or just about any other film SLR) - complete with how to fit a
jack to the camera - and some are even ok to use with power winders and film
backs attached to the camera. Of course, it does entail taking a drill to
your camera's battery cover and doing some soldering.
