Larry,
The 500/8 Zuiko is lower in contrast than all the other Zuikos.
On occasion I have though about selling mine because of that. However, it is
an amazingly compact lens so I have kept it around for it's convenience. On
an E-body it is hard to beat the 1000/8 performance.
