Try carrying your camera in a ready to use mode. I find having mine
mounted on a tripod eliminates ***taking it out of the bag***. If
there isn't much difference between carrying it and putting your eye
to it, you'll probably find you won't hesitate to take pictures.
Of course people notice me carrying a tripod, so they aren't surprised
if I start taking pictures. YMMV
