Regarding the 50/1.4, I believe that there are three main variants
(excepting the very early ones that go yellow with age). Those that say
'G.Zuiko' are presumably single-coated - serial number up to 650,000
roughly. Those that say 'MC' - multi-coated, maybe not on all elements,
serial number up to 1,100,000 roughly. Those above that serial number range,
not marked 'MC', but multi-coated on all elements - presumably the best
version.
Can anyone confirm that those over 1.1 million are not marked MC? I do not
have one, but have an 'MC' with serial number 1,064,1xx.
