Despite every apparent effort on my part to scare buyers away with a most
user-unfriendly purchase system on my web site, some folks insist on sending
me checks through the mail to buy prints. The volume is not really a volume,
more like a trickle, but it's growing at a rather alarming rate (at least it
would be alarming if it were a faucet <g>).
I post a range of prices, and ask folks to call or e-mail with their wants.
Every now and then a check arrives in the mail. Most recently, one woman
ordered 6 of the same print, same size. She was having them all framed at a
local frame shop, and giving them as gifts. I did not discourage her.
That said, at some point I'd like a more user-friendly interface, but I'm
not pushing it yet because I don't think internet sales ever are going to
amount to much, except from people who have seen my prints up close and
personal, and who want more. I know there's at least two of these out there.
Maybe three. <g>
FWIW,
