I queried Tokina tech support in the US on their recent propensity to
discontinue more lenses than they were introducing. I got this reply

We did indeed discontinue nearly our entire line up, but we have new
lenses coming out now. Our new line of lenses can be found here:

I note that DX (small sensor) lenses have it 3:2. I guess that's where
the bread and butter is today.
