You must have missed this sentence: "It was also irking me that I would
be paying for all that automation which I never use since I only shoot
flash in manual mode."
I only intended to use it in manual mode.
News flash on the flash: Everything seems to worko OK on this flash
except that I think the automatic guide number calculator on the flash
is toast. Even in manual mode it's supposed to caculate proper flash
distance based on flash zoom head position, aperture and ISO. But the
distance markers just flash uselessly. I'm probably going to return it.
