You could try pivoting on the lens centre to avoid much of this, and
overlapping a lot.. A focusing
rail could help - adjust by moving the lens and camera back and forth until you
minimise any
parallax. Setting up a nearby tripod or light stand would help in evaluation.
Another trick is to use mirrors to get some apparent distance - can be tricky.
Or rent a wider lens. If you use a fisheye, you can remap with photoshop to
rectilinear.
Or use the WCON-07.
