I just ordered my $40 item (from Will) and specifically asked if there
was a $6.95 rate for orders under $50. He replied: "There used to be."
When my very long hesitation implied disapproval he said: "But I can
fix you up with that rate today".
I think the moral of the story is not "Ask and ye shall receive" but
"Ask and insist and ye shall receive."
