Hmmmmm Well I went to the nearby city to look at my new camera - but my son
took me by car and by the time we eventually found the shop after *hours* [I
mean very literally hours i.e. over 2 hours!] of trying to find the street
whilst negotiatiing the city's *damn ridiculous* one-way traffic and ring
road systems - the shop was closed - grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! The shop is on a
street in the citry centre.
I even called into a pub to ask the locals for directions (we knew we were
no more than about 1/2 mile from the shop - if walking) - they knew where
the shop was roughly but couldn't figure out how to direct us there due to
the one-way systems. So I'll have to go back tomorrow and get my camera!!!
My son will drive us to the city - but we'll just park up and walk the damn
1/2 mile or so! We used so much fuel driving around the city's centre
umpteen zillion times that we barely made it back up the motorway to our
home town! I was going to go by public transport but my son said we'll drive
you there (he's as much interested in my new camera as me). My grandson
(who's just a toddler) puked up after having something to eat (we all went
for a bit to eat at KFC when we found the camera shop was shut) - due to all
the travelling by car. I just hope that digital photography is worth the
hassle lol! Now wonder I'm grey haired and balding!

PS No trees were harmed in the sending of this message and a very large
number of electrons were asked their permission to be terribly
inconvenienced. (And threw a party for them afterwards for being really cool
about it).
