Yes indeed. Take note that (over here, at least) Adobe distinguishes
between "education" discounts and "student" discounts. The latter discounts
are greater, but the qualification procedure is tight. For the former, it
seems like account confirmation from an email address in the .edu or .ac.uk
domains is, of itself, sufficient to qualify. All you need is the right
address. And the discount is well worth having.

Thank goodness for education discounts! Got Premiere Pro 2.0 for something
like 149$, and training manuals and DVD for another 50. But then Final Cut
is much nicer, and FCS bundle is about 600, less than half of what retail
is, for EDU markets.
