Nah! I use them all the time. I use a radio slave to the first light
and the others (1 to 3 from 20-50 feet apart) get triggered by their
built-in optical slaves. But these are studio flash units I'm talking
about, not portable hot shoe flashes. Recycle time from a full dump is
1 second, not 10-12 seconds. Not really noticeable. The probability
that someone with a point and shoot causes interference with flash not
ready is pretty remote.
