Bootcamp is an Apple application that is a free download. With it
installed you can then install your Windows OS. Then running your
legacy programs is just a matter of rebooting into Windows on the
Mac. It will run just like your PC but faster because of the new
processor. Parallels is a third party program that will allow you to
install and run Windows in emulation without a reboot, but it is
slower. It seems to be relatively bug free for that sort of thing
though. Bootcamp should be pretty bullet proof though.
