Anything that can trigger the flash will work for non-TTL auto mode. A
T cord will do it even though the rest of its signal lines aren't being
used. A PC cord will do it. A radio slave will do it. And maybe best
of all, because it's cheap and has no cords, is an optical slave. $12
at Ritz. I have a couple of them. Cheap and extremely sensitive.
