You bet, the 30 is big in diameter, bigger and heavier than the old 55/1.2.
55/1.2 weighs 10.9 oz, 30mm 14.1 oz. (just under 1 lb.)
55/1.2 2.6" diameter, 30mm 3" diameter.
The Sigma rep said the lens was available, but I have not tried to find
one.
