Interesting; apparently Tamron isn't aware of this or has given up
protecting the Adaptall mount design. There was a reason you never say

How many alternatives does one need? For someone like me, with lots of
OM mount lenses and a fair number of Adaptall lenses already sporting OM
mount adapters, the OM=>EOS adapter makes much more sense.
From curiosity, rather than necessity, I also put together the M42
Adaptall=>M42=>EOS combo. That is more problematic, as only M42=>EOS
adapters with a lip on the back to press the stop down pin work properly
and I had to insulate the back with a piece of tape. Worked fine after
getting it set up right, but hardly worth the effort.
