I thought that was interesting too. What was disconcerting was the
upgrade of the 350D which is a lower line camera to the 400D after
keeping the 30D the same. Maybe the 10MP CMOS was not ready yet when
they were thinking about the 30D? They seem to have enough price
flexibility though to compete in that area until they bring out its
successor.
