I've sent emails to the next two participants to see if they are ready
to receive the odyssey camera. Both are in Texas.
There are currently about a dozen people in line before it would be
shipped to Canada. About half of the remaining US participants are in
areas where snow falls in the winter. There are about 5 participants
in Canada.
With about 18 remaining participants in North America, and each
participant taking about 2 weeks that would imply the camera might be
ready to leave North America about the first of June but past
experience suggests it will take longer. Are there any North American
participants who think they could still get some good fall early
winter images if the route were changed? Are there any participants
who would prefer trying to get some images in the depths of winter?
Please email me directly (sendmail:jeff@xxxxxxxxxxx)
Thank you,
-jeff
ps
The SF airport was a little chilly last night while wearing both a
short sleeved shirt and shorts.
