I'll second that, Winsor and David. I am using CS on a MacBook (2.0)
and it is as speedy as I need it to be, faster than my 1.2Gig G4. I
am about to go and buy a 20" iMac as my monitor is playing up; I
anticipate a speedy performance whether with Rosetta or no. However,
most of my photo work is done with Lightroom Beta 4 and Lightzone RT
(the plugin).
I tried to help a friend with his XP-equipped laptop last week; the
experience nearly brought on apoplepsy :-). I'll admit, though, that
I am biased against Windoze because of the security-bound system I
have to use at work. Government departments, especially the MOD, do
not work well with IT projects ...
