Yes, the E-400 will work with OM lenses. I hope to see one at PhotoPlus
Expo in NYC in a couple of weeks.
Now the bad news for you: the camera operates the same way as other
E-system cameras for metering, i.e., in stop-down mode. IMO, there is ZERO
chance that anyone will ever adapt an E-System camera to actuate the
aperture mechanism of a MF lens. The translation of the electrical signals
from the E-system body to a MF lens would require that the adapter be
chipped, powered, and have a motor to actuate the diaphragm linkages. It'd
be at least $500, if it was ever made. Sales? Crappy.
The net? Don't hold your breath for it.
