I am very much in doubt about any future involvement with Olympus
DSLRs. I am starting to dislike the big size of the E-1 (I know,
everything is relative), and especially the huge grip. Carrying the
thing all day is no fun... And street photography with it is not the
easiest of tasks. Also, I would very much like to use primes, and
especially wide angle prime lenses.
OTOH, the E-400 looks nice, and lo and behold... no grip! *That*
might be interesting... We will see when the tests begin appearing if
Oly has managed to contain the noise at 400 ISO and above.
But... still no primes. Thus, I am also more and more leaning to a
C*non digital back for my 21/3.5 and 24/2.8. Or a N*kon, with N*kon
primes.
Apparently, currently, you cannot have small size and primes at the
same time - unless you buy a digital rangefinder, but these things
are expensive ;-)
