[OM] E10: M to A/S to M forgets settings?

I ran into this "bug" yesterday while shooting an event. For the most  
part in M mode. Switched over to A for a couple of shots, and when  
dial was turned back to M, it kept the aperture from A mode, not what  
it was when I left M mode. Is that normal? Don't recall that ever  
happening.
