I'm not sure it's graphic arts. I think of my son, who is a talented
graphic artist in the sense of producing images without photography. But
I don't know where the line may be.
I am pleased to have found an affinity for the digital darkroom and love
working images into the look I want. I've never thought of it as
distinctive, or even consistent, so I appreciate that point of view.
Certainly when I put together a large slide show of mostly natural
images for use with music in small groups to induce meditative/altered
states, I consciously went for a consistent "feeling". Works like a
charm too.
I suspect one reason you like images of mine like this is that they have
a gentle quality that reminds me of images from another photographer on
the list, a very good one - some fellow named Richard. :-)
