If you want a shallower DOF, larger format has been and apparently
still is the way to go.
The movements on LF are there because of the shallow DOF even with
slow lenses.. A 24mm f2 sounds good but put it on a fourthirds and
other than exposure the image is like a 50mm f2.8 on full frame.
