I think it is odd too. If anything I would have thought that Leica
would have maintained the decades old connection to Minolta. Since
the M8 Leica has a Kodak sensor it seems that both Oly and Leica are
using Kodak for their own high end stuff and Panasonic for the joint
ventures. You would think that FujiFilm could make more money selling
sensors than they are making on cameras and you wonder why they don't.
