I think I remember someone on the list drawing attention to a high
performance electric car, called a Tesla, which was announced in the
USA. and due to be introduced soon. I was interested tonight to
listen to a BBC radio programme including an interview with a founder
of Tesla and an account of a test-track outing of a prototype
car. As I understand it the car is being developed by Lotus and may
well be built, but not sold, in the UK.
