We sure did. Walt's decision to forgo the trip was definitely a
wise thing. It was about 500 yards to the "Two-Ply-Palace".
"One-ply" was closer, but, well, you know. A phonebooth sized
"relief center" was located really close to the cabins, but you
needed scuba gear to survive the experience. Even the bugs
avoided it.

I hear ya. I drooled over that thing something fierce. But it
reminds me of the time that I test drove a hopped up 3rd gen
RX-7. It was so quick and twitchy that it made me nervous.
It's really hard to keep your toes out of the photographs. An
11-22 is on my shortlist as it is a bit more affordable and
probably meets me needs a little better. Besides, other than the
grand landscape of interior photography, I have a hard time
justifying the expense of the 7-14. Now, if Olympus came out
with a non-zoom mega-wide-angle... :)

Provided I can get past this one without being sued, there is a
high likelihood of another Schnozz-Sponsored event. Next one, I
promise, will be "Walt Hitched-Giddyup Friendly".
