The added weight is significant, but the balance is excellent.
The battery lasts as long as two of the little ones; probably a whole day
for most people.
It's excellent for vertical shooting; there are two control wheels and an
AEL button as well as the shutter release - you never have to fumble around.
And your subject always does what they're told because it's like being shot
at by a tank :-)
