But....
using an f16 lens would be pretty difficult. The image will be very
difficult to focus. You'll probably find an f8 lens pretty challenging.
The effective doubling of the focal length because of the smaller sensor
size of your E500 compared to an OM would make that a very long focal
length. You would need a very good tripod to hold it steady. Unless you have
some special need in mind, I would recommend getting a good 300mm or 400mm
focal length lens. Your E500 will provide the same magnification as a 600 or
800 lens on a 35mm film camera. That will seem pretty long except when
you're trying to capture a close up of a bird.
