Please. Ken's just smarting because he's heard me talk politics once
or twice ("No, Ken, the Green Party is not the 'color of money'
party." "No, Ken, a vote for Nader is not a good way to protest 'that
bleeding heart from Crawford.'").
Oh, I almost forgot to pack my very sharp knife with which to cut my wrist
if the conversations get too long and about politics (even if they tend to be
in agreement with the way I think things should be). Heck, maybe I'll slip an
old Can*n or Nik*n in my pack in case we get to far down some dark road of
political discussion. I can use it as an ice breaker for a new conversation
or perhaps if not that a jawbreaker to end one.
The most controversial conversation I want to have is, "Heather or Farrah,
which is better." I think all in attendence old enough to know who these two
are. That conversation should last at least a minute or two.
Hmm, "HP 5 or Tri-X", "Tamron 90mm or Zuiko 90mm in the field", "Mom's
cooking or Ken's", Heck, there will be many things to talk about. Oh, and
"Sleep
in or catch first light." "Who used the 7-14mm last?". Where is the 24mm
shift. What time did Joel say he would be back. Isn't there a ferry leaving
from Rock Harbor this afternoon? You don't think he . . . .
