I've been digging through old prints from yesteryear, weeding out some of the
more embarrassing ones that I intend never to be seen and laughed at by the
grandkids. Surely, considering the probable average age of this assemblage, I'm
not the only one with big, helmet-hair, circa '70s photos that should visit the
shredder and never be seen again. When my old, silver Bell helmet started to
seem a little too large a few years ago, I just assumed that at my age my head
was starting to shrink, since I was sure my brain was too. I feel better now
about that, but this photo is going to disappear very soon.
