Yes, I've noticed it as well.

I'm not sure exactly what is causing the polarisation effect, but it's
definitely more pronounced in the 7-14mm than it is with the OM's 21mm or
18mm lens. Maybe it has something to do with the design of an ultra-wide
zoom vs a fixed focal length lens.
