Went to a motorcycle trackday at Cadwell Park last week, well, 2
consecutive days in fact. Alas, I was unable to ride on the second
afternoon (just a few bruises, nothing broken, no bits of me anyway)
so devoted the afternoon to photography instead.
Better results than I expected: my panning has improved, and my timing
on the pre-focused shots wasn't too bad. The E-300s continuous AF
lags a bit behind the action (I used it in most of the early
head-on/oblique angle shots) so next time I'll try using the
auto-focus point on the side of the screen centre that the subject is
moving towards, if you see what I mean.
All done with the DZ40-150 3.5-4.5 zoom, mostly at 150mm, handheld or
on a monopod, raw files, but V. little change from the camera settings
in development with Raw Shooter essentials. This did mean that
shooting rapid sequences was out of the question, but I very rarely do
that anyway.

Apologies for the names of riders being a bit obscure & meaningless.
