A flash might be useful, if for no other purpose than annoying your fellow
intrepid adventurers at day's end after the light's gone. IMO that's reason
enough to tote one. :-)
I'll be happy to loan you my little FL-20, which, with batteries, diffuser and
case, weighs a mere 4.5 ounces and is slightly smaller than a pack of cowboy
killers. With all the other stuff you're taking, you wouldn't notice the
difference. Since I can't come along myself, that would at least give me some
small measure of participation in this outing, and it could be shared by all
the E-1 users. The T-20 is surprisingly powerful, but I haven't used it since I
got the FL-50. However, if I needed a flash more than 500 yards from the car,
it would be my choice.
Ping me off list if you want me to send it.
Have fun, y'all.
